

Mango is known as the king of the fruits. Mango is a very sweet fruit and hence one does not need to add sugar in it and hence it makes it very beneficial for health. Mango pulp is the inner fleshy yellow part of the mango. Mango pulp is widely used in preparing Juices, Drinks, Nectars etc. It is also used in preparation of other Mango based value-added products.
Mango Pulp is made from fresh mangoes of certain kinds. Mangoes that are ready to be picked are quickly taken to a plant where they are inspected and washed. Selected high-quality fruits go into the controlled ripening chambers. Fully ripe mango fruits are then washed, blanched, pulped, deseeded, centrifuged, homogenised, concentrated when needed, thermally processed, and aseptically filled to keep them sterile. Cutting, removing the stones, refining and packing are all parts of the process. In case of aseptic products, the pulp is sterilised and packed in aseptic bags. The refined pulp is also packed in cans, hermetically sealed and retorted. Frozen pulp is pasteurised and deep-frozen in plate freezers. The process makes sure that the final product still has the natural taste and smell of the fruit.
